Hat spotlight: The Undertaker Hat
Many of our customers are familiar with one of our favorite hats: it's an open crown wool felt wide brim hat with a rather austere aura called The Undertaker Hat.
But did you know where this hat actually gets its name?
Standing at 6'10 and weighing in at 310Lbs, one of America's favorite wrestlers retired from the ring in 2020.
With no shortage of stage names, The Master of Pain, Texas Red, The Punisher and perhaps most famously Kane the Undertaker sealed his fame by winning 4 won the WWF Championship 4 times from 1991 to 1994 and is also known for his amazing WWF winning streak of 21 matches!
Fans of professional wrestling know that nobody performed like the undertaker. His severe manner, imposing muscled figure, and theatrical hijinks kept fans entertained and on the edge of their seats.
The Undertaker's signature black duster and wide brim black hat with flat brim and open crown contributed a great deal to his brutal and austere look, and we are proud to pay him homage.
